Comprehensive academic advising throughout your time in the program will help you to develop a course map to best meet your professional learning goals with respect to public health methods, frameworks, and content depth. Below are sample course maps to help you think about ways to combine courses from different study emphases as part of the Health Policy and Management concentration. These are just examples and there are many ways to map your course of study. As part of the planning process, consider asking yourself: What tools do I want to bring to the table to address the public health issues I am most passionate about tackling?
Requirements:
- 5 Required HPM Courses. Required courses must be taken for a letter grade.
- Electives: To complete 42 units for the MPH degree, students in HPM Concentration select 3 courses or 9 units.
Do you have questions about your course map and how it aligns with your professional and learning goals? Please reach out to Dr. Brent Fulton, Faculty Lead for the Health Policy and Management concentration.
